Three new Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur high quality replica watches, including a new Dual Time watch
UN expands its classic Marine collection with a new traveler model.
First launched in 2017, the Marine Torpilleur collection was completely updated last year with new, sophisticated models that pay tribute to the brand’s rich history in marine chronometers. Ulysse Nardin MARINE TORPILLEUR Ulysse Nardin was founded in Le Locle in 1846 by Ulysse Nardin, a young watchmaker who cemented his reputation with precision marine chronometers. By the 1870s, the manufacturer was supplying precision marine deck astronomical clocks to more than 50 navies and merchant ships. This particular and complex area of watchmaking has become a signature element of the brand’s portfolio and is widely used in modern models. Launched in 2017, the Marine Torpilleur is a smaller, lighter and cheaper version of its Marine collection. Its name is derived from the word torpilleur, or torpedo boat.
Key elements of the Marine Torpilleur collection include the thin fluted bezel, the elongated Roman numerals, the spade-shaped and whip-shaped hands, and the dual counters at 12 and 6 o’clock (except for the chronograph and tourbillon), which are reminiscent of the displays of marine astronomical clocks. MARINE TORPILLEUR DUAL TIME ZONE The first new model is actually a completely new watch and the first time the brand has incorporated its signature dual time zone display into the collection. Invented by Ludwig Oechslin in 1994, it relies on the ultra-practical GMT± function, with two pushers to quickly correct the local time, while the reference time window at 9 o'clock continuously displays the home time. Then, in 2014, Ulysse Nardin launched the UN-334, the first in-house movement equipped with a GMT± function.
This year, we welcome the Ulysse Nardin Marine Tourpilleur Dual Time watch, which combines this functional and advanced movement with the streamlined appearance of the series. It also features a large date window and a small seconds hand. The Marine Torpilleur Dual Time features a polished and satin-finished 44 mm stainless steel case with a dark blue dial with multiple textures. MARINE TORPILLEUR WHITE ENEMAKER Last year, Ulysse Nardin launched the limited edition Marine Torpilleur Tourbillon with a rose gold case and black Grand Feu enamel dial. This year, the watch returns in a more refined, understated and approachable version. In fact, the 42mm case is made of stainless steel. The dial is still made by Donzé Cadrans and is handcrafted in Grand Feu enamel, in white with blue numerals, a classic nautical style.
Powering this high-end version is the in-house automatic calibre UN-128. As you can see, the large aperture at 6 o'clock reveals an oversized tourbillon, but there's more here. In fact, it relies on silicon technology for its constant escapement, thanks to a flying silicon anchor, a patented system of Ulysse Nardin.

GOLD MARINE TORPILLEUR MOONPHASE Among the new models launched in 2021 is also an elegant and refined moonphase watch with a stainless steel case and a blue or white dial, each limited to 300 pieces. The Marine Torpilleur Moonphase returns this year as part of the permanent collection, with a 42 mm rose gold case. The dial is lacquered in white and features a vertical layout that perfectly integrates the moon phase complication without disrupting the iconic look of the Marine model. The warm gold color complements the marine blue on the strap and numerals.
The case houses the automatic chronometer movement UN-119, equipped with a silicon balance spring and a DiamonSil escape wheel and anchor. Patented in 2009, this technology uses a plasma surface treatment process that combines silicon and synthetic diamonds to optimize performance and improve resistance to magnetism and friction.
